WHAT: Sign-ups begin Monday, April 9, 2018 for individuals and companies volunteering to make a difference during Chicago Cares 25th Annual Serve-A-Thon, on June 23, 2018. Volunteer sign-ups run through April – National Volunteer Month

More than 5,000 volunteers will come together to work, play and give back to their city at more than 30 locations by:
Painting and rehabbing public high schools
Cleaning and beautifying parks and public spaces
Cooking and delivering meals to seniors and home-bound individuals
Providing services at other City locations. 

WHO: Thousands of Chicagoans are involved in the event every year. WHERE: Interested volunteers should visit www.chicagocares.org to sign up. Companies can also learn more by emailing development@chicagocares.org. WHEN: Volunteer sign-ups begin April 9. The 25th Annual Serve-A-Thon takes place on June 23, 2018.
