The 59th annual Hyde Park Garden Fair offers thousands of plants for sale: annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, hanging baskets, container plants, houseplants, ground covers, shrubs and vines, and native plants. All are chosen for our area. The fair runs Friday May 18 from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday May 19 from 9 am to 4 pm. The fair is located on the plaza at the Hyde Park Shopping Center, 55th and Lake Park, where there is ample parking. Proceeds support gardening projects in Hyde Park-Kenwood and surrounding areas, and the work of the Hyde Park-Kenwood Community Conference, an independent community organization.
